On March 17, 2020, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) tech group advised ISIS supporters that fear of prosecution is not an excuse to refrain from engaging in media jihad, and that such activities are more vital than military operations. The group also urged supporters to take the necessary precautions online, but to continue pushing pro-ISIS content on social media.
