Pro-ISIS Tech Body Recommends Tor For Online Anonymity; 'Conversations,' 'Chat Secure,' And 'Gajim' For Encrypted Messaging

A pro-Islamic State (ISIS) tech body recently began posting Question and Answer content on its Telegram channel. The group can be contacted on Telegram, Threema, and XMPP (Conversations).

On September 6, in an answer to a question about the best programs to use for sending sensitive information over the web, the group recommended using the app Conversations with OMEMO encryption enabled on Android devices; Chat Secure on Apple iOS, and Gajim (a Jabber/XMPP client) on Windows and Linux machines.
