September 2, 2020

On August 27, 2020, a user responded to a post made on a pro-ISIS Rocket.Chat inviting others to join the U.S.-based social platform MeWe. The user responded by warning that MeWe does not encrypt user data unless they pay for the service. The user also noted that the platform stores its data in the United States, and therefore, that it is in danger of being seized "for only speaking of Dawlah [the Islamic State]." He ended by asking others to "please be mindful of your brothers' security."
