On April 11, 2022, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) outlet on Telegram released a poster calling on supporters to make use technology to encourage other to support jihad, saying: "take their hand and guide them, Allah willing, to Allah's straight path." The poster depicted a laptop with the logos of various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. The poster also included a QR code linked to the group's Telegram channel.
