On May 31, 2021, pro-Islamic State (ISIS) outlets on Telegram released translations of a poster originally published in ISIS's weekly publication on May 28. The poster listed the "objectives of media jihad," which included, among others, objectives such as "enraging the enemy," inciting supporters to wage jihad, and highlighting the daily lives of the mujahideen, their achievements, and their sacrifices. The poster was released in Arabic, French, Amharic, Somali, Urdu, and Indonesian.
