November 11, 2021

On November 9, 2021, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) outlet released a poster on Telegram condemning the use of mainstream and social media as a news source. Titled "Be Alert And Obey Your Lord," the poster depicted the logos of several social media platforms, with a headline reporting on the killing of a senior ISIS commander in Iraq. The poster then noted that anti-ISIS clerics get their inaccurate information about the organization from mainstream media.
