Pro-ISIS Outlet Lists 'Safe' Messaging Apps, Advises Against Using Chinese, Russian Apps

On March 13, 2020, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) outlet released a poster titled, "Safe Applications For Brothers," recommending that ISIS supporters use Telegram, Rocket.Chat, or the Riot.im chat application to communicate, labelling these platforms "safe to use." The outlet also released other posters that warn ISIS supporters against using apps such as the Russian TamTam Messenger app and the Chinese BCM Messenger apps.
