On September 26, 2018, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) media group posted a notice announcing that it is seeking people who can hack Facebook and Twitter accounts. Posted on pro-ISIS Telegram chat groups, the notice reads: "Your brothers... announce that they require Facebook and Twitter account hackers. Whoever sees himself qualified for this work can make contact via the Telegram account."
