November 20, 2017

On November 7-9, 2017, a Telegram channel apparently run by Islamic State (ISIS) supporters in the Gaza Strip published a list of websites that it claimed had been hacked by a group calling itself Hackers Al-Dawlah Al-Islamiyya ("The Islamic State Hackers"). The Telegram channel also published an announcement by a group of hackers threatening to continue and expand its hacking operations to sensitive websites belonging to countries that are members of the military coalition against ISIS. The announcement reads as follows: "This is a continuous campaign to hack all the countries of the Cursed Global Coalition against the Islamic state. We will hack the sites of infidelity for the defense of Muslims everywhere. Your Government sites, military and international companies will be hacked as long as you are fighting against the Islamic state. Sensitive information will be withdrawn and we will be published soon. Excused we are as we warned you before."
