Pro-ISIS Group Specializing In Translating ISIS Publications Launches Website For Anonymous Tor Browser

October 20, 2021

On October 17, 2021, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) Telegram channel shared a message from a group specializing in the translation of official ISIS releases into other languages.

The message included a link to the outlet's new Tor website, launched to replace a previous website, now unavailable, as well as links to the group's older web pages which remain active. The sites are accessible via the TOR browser, which allows the anonymous hosting of websites and user anonymity. The message also included a link to a site that will notify users when new pages are published.

In addition, the post listed a new Telegram channel where the outlet can be contacted, although it specified that the organization does not yet run its own dedicated Telegram channel. The group previously maintained a channel, which was banned.
