On October 16, 2024, a prominent pro-Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) Telegram channel promoted infographic posters explaining first-person view (FPV) drones and their specifications to HTS operatives and supporters. The pro-HTS channel re-published the posters to inform its followers on how to avoid suicide drones.
The posters explain the characteristics of FPV drones, starting with their ability to wirelessly transmit video feeds through their cameras. Further, the posters provided a "how-to" manual for both civilians and fighters to mitigate the threat of suicide drones.
