On December 18, 2020 the media outlet of a Myanmar-based affiliate of the Islamic State (ISIS) posted a list of the group's accounts across various encrypted platforms, including: Element, Telegram, ISIS' Rocket.Chat, Hoop, Threema, TamTam, WhatsApp, Wickr, Wire, Signal, and Discord. The phone number associated with the group's Signal and WhatsApp accounts is based in Canada.
