On March 2, 2025, a media outlet linked to the Islamic State (ISIS) Pakistan Province published a poster calling for contributions of "jihad with wealth." The poster instructed supporters to make donations of the Monero cryptocurrency, providing a Monero (XMR) wallet address and a QR code, as well as a Telegram account to contact.
