Lebanese Hizbullah-Affiliated Accounts Active On Twitter, Despite Content Moderation Efforts

On Twitter, several accounts operated by entities affiliated with Lebanese Hizbullah are active despite content moderation efforts and the account operators' U.S. designated terrorist status. MEMRI has long documented Lebanese terrorist organization Hizbullah's online activity, including on social media, in a series of reports published in previous years. As the below chart illustrates, which was published by MEMRI in 2014, Hizbullah actors such as Al-Manar satellite television stations and Naim Qaseim have repeatedly evaded content moderation efforts on social media platforms, re-establishing accounts after facing platform suspensions.

This report documents current Hizbullah-affiliated accounts on Twitter.
