Kavkaz Center reported on its website that on April 11, the U.S.-based ISP Staminus had blocked its website. It said that the company explained that there had been a "serious failure" and that its server would be repaired soon. It added that the next day the company said that it did not know when it would be restored. The report also stated that Kavkaz Center had tried three times to open new Twitter accounts but that within a few hours each had been blocked "without explanation." Its blog was also blocked by Google, it said. Prior to that, it said, two of its Facebook accounts were blocked.
