On July 20, 2012, the Riyah Media Company (RMC) announced on the Al-Fida' jihad forum the launch of an official page on Google Plus through which it will disseminate its material.[1] The announcement said the decision to open a page on Google Plus came in response to the frequent targeting and shutting down of the main jihadi forums, and as a natural response to the ongoing advances in media-related technologies.
