On February 21, 2023, a channel on the Rocket.Chat server operated by the Islamic State (ISIS) published a post reporting that a Moroccan group claimed to have hacked and leaked the data of the Algerian Ministry of National Education. However, the post noted, the cyber attack was actually carried out several months ago by a pro-Russia group, in an attack that also targeted several major American companies.
