ISIS Forum Opens New Section To Facilitate Access, Sharing Of ISIS Content

May 9, 2017

In the past week, a new section has been opened on a prominent jihadi forum that offers easy access to previously released Islamic State (ISIS) content. As an official ISIS outlet, the forum already has other sections housing much of ISIS's archival content. The new section, however, offers another way for users to access such content by bundling it into easily shared file hosting links. The content in the new section is arranged chronologically.

A user can choose to access content according to month and day. The content is shared on several file hosting websites, including Justpaste.it, Addpost.it, Archive.is, Archive.org, Top4top.net, Almlf.com, and Downace.com. Once a link is clicked, all ISIS content released that day, including statements, videos, and reports by the ISIS news agency A'maq, can be accessed, downloaded, or further shared.

The forum had operated a similar function on Telegram, but, apparently due to its channel being repeatedly shut down, its administrators opted to use a more stable release platform, i.e. the forum itself.
