On December 24, 2019, an ISIS supporter posted a TikTok video featuring an audio message by an unknown ISIS fighter vowing that "the Islamic State will remain" despite the online clampdown. "If you close one channel, we will open 10 and if you close 10, we will return with 100," he warns Telegram. The video concludes with a recording Al-Baghdadi's voice, in which he says: "Steadfastness, and no retreat."
