On May 4, 2016, the Al-Battar media company, which is closely affiliated with the Islamic State (ISIS), released an Android app that allows users to listen to ISIS nasheeds (religious hymns) on their mobile devices.
The app is named Ajnad, a reference to the Ajnad Media Company, ISIS's official media body specializing in audio production.
