Iraqi Ministry Of Defense Announces Plan To Rehabilitate Armed Drones

On August 8, 2022 Iraq's Ministry of Defense announced that it will be repairing and rehabilitating drones that were previously used to monitor the movement of the Islamic State (ISIS).[1] An event was held to celebrate the completion of the rehabilitation of armed CH4 drones by Army Aviation Command, attended by Iraq's Minister of Defense Juma Inad. The drones will be used in Iraqi airspace to locate remaining ISIS sites and eliminate them, according to the Ministry of Defense's statement.
