Iranian Government Launches Hacking Contest, Calls On Iranian Organizations To Secure Websites

On October 6, 2018, Tasnim News Agency reported that the director of the Iranian judiciary's Statistics and Information Technology Center said that Iran had launched a contest for white hat hackers to try to detect the security bugs in certain websites. According to the report, a panel from Amirkabir University of Technology will judge the contest and award prizes to the winners. Those interested in taking part in the competition were invited to register at Kolahsefid.org. The director also recommended that the managers of Iranian organizations take advantage of the skills of local white hat hackers to improve the security of their websites.
