January 6, 2021

A new Iranian board game, titled "Brave," can be paired with an augmented reality mobile app.[1] The game is intended to teach players about 57 Iranian "national heroes" who were "martyred" during the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war, and in battle against the Islamic State (ISIS). The accompanying mobile app allows players to view digital images overlaid onto the their surroundings, via their smartphone's screen. The box for the game features an image of IRGC Quds Force General Qassem Soleimani, who was killed in a U.S. airstrike on January 3, 2020.
