Iran-Backed Iraqi Group Claims Drone That Crashed In Southern Israel Was Downed From Jordan

On November 12, 2022, an Iran-backed Iraqi group published a post on its Telegram channel discussing the November 9 crash of an Israeli Defense Force drone in the southern Israeli city of Arad, describing it as "a blow perpetrated with the appropriate means" which originated in Jordan, a country "which is perceived in Israel as a first line of defense." The statement did not provide the identity of the alleged perpetrator, but urged Muslims "to bow to [them] in gratitude."
