Iran-Backed Hacker Group In Iraq Claims Responsibility For Cyber Attacks On Syrian Governmental Websites 'Under The Control Of Terrorist Groups'

A hacker group affiliated with the Iran-backed militias in Iraq claimed responsibility for a series of cyber attacks on Syrian governmental websites, which the group claimed had come under the control of "terrorist groups", referring to Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS). The group reported on Telegram that it had conducted a series of cyber attacks against Syrian websites as well as the official website of HTS's Military Media. The attacks resulted in the shutting down of the websites, the group claimed.
