On August 26, 2021, the Saudi-led coalition invading Yemen released a statement saying their forces had intercepted a Houthi explosive drone, which was launched toward the Saudi city Khamis Mushait. The same day, a Lebanese TV channel reported that according to local sources, Yemeni missiles and drones targeted a base of Saudi-backed forces in Ma'rib province, Yemen, where two large explosions were witnessed.[1]
