Several days following the downing of the American drone by Iran on June 21, 2019, it was reported in the American media that the U.S. had perpetrated a cyber-attack against the Hizbullah Brigades, an Iraqi Shi'ite militia supported by Iran. Twenty-four hours later, the Hizbullah Brigades threatened a tough and imminent response. An announcement from the organization's Intelligence Department described as an "alleged attack," which did not achieve its aims, and the organization warned: "We will respond to it soon, twice as strongly."
