Hacker Tries To Extort UAE Bank

On November 25, 2015, it was reported that a Sharjah-based bank in the UAE was hacked by "Hacker Buba", who threatened to release confidential information unless the bank paid him an undisclosed sum using the cryptocurrency Bitcoin. When the bank did not meet his demands, the hacker released bank statements via his Twitter account. The bank reported the breach to the UAE Central Bank and authorities.
