Hacker Targets Unnamed Bank, Sends Money To Anti-ISIS Syrian Province

On May 19, 2016, the hacker Phineas Fisher aka Hack Back claimed on Reddit that he had breached an unnamed bank and sent the money he had stolen to the Rojava Autonomous Syrian Province, which is mostly comprised of Kurdish Syrians and Turks. The money was donated to a campaign set up by locals to fund a project that creates fertilizer from animal waste. According to Hack Back, the sum donated was approximately 10,000 euros, and was delivered via Bitcoin.
