Ghost Squad Hacks Twitter Account of Afghan Chief Executive

cjl08021 On July 31, 2016, the official Twitter account of Afghanistan's Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah was hacked by a member of the Ghost Squad hacker group. The hacker, G4mm4, had previously shut down websites for the Ku Klux Klan, Black Lives Matter, and Donald Trump. He took over the verified account of Dr. Abdullah and sent several tweets to his 42,000+ followers. He also defaced the account bio and banner (see above) cjl08022 A representative from Ghost Squad Hackers said the reason for the hack was to raise a voice against corruption, large-scale drug deals and the illegal presence of American troops in the country.
