In June, 2016, the Gaza Hacker Team (sometimes "Gaza Hackers Team"), also known by the aliases "Molerats" and "Gaza Cybergang," conducted Operation DustSky, which aimed at penetrating computer systems belonging to those deemed "enemies" of Hamas. The attacks included of the spreading of malware, as well as phishing emails in several different languages. The targets of Operation DustSky include bankers in the UAE and Israel; the Saudi foreign ministry; and the United States State Department.[1] Emails were sent to over 150 accounts, most of them private email accounts.[2] Gaza Hacker Team maintains accounts on multiple social media sites:
