Gaza-Based Al-Mujahideen Brigades, Which Kidnapped Israelis On October 7, Opens New X Account, Solicits Cryptocurrency Donations

The Gaza-based Al-Mujahideen Brigades militia, the military arm of The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement, opened a new X account, created about ten days after the militia opened an account on Telegram. The Al-Mujahideen Brigades militia also operates four Telegram channels on a regular basis. The new X account, which was opened on February 6, 2024, currently has more than 700 followers.

On its new X account, the group publishes claims of responsibility for attacks against Israeli forces, statements by the group's spokesmen, and more.

Also on its X and Telegram accounts, The group has shared posters requesting donations and providing QR codes for its Tether, Ethereum, and Bitcoin accounts.
