Facebook Shuts Down Hizbullah's Electoral Page Twice In 24 Hours

On March 29, 2018, the website of Hizbullah's Al-Manar television network reported that on March 28, Facebook had shut down the Facebook page for Hizbullah's Nahmi Wa Nabni ("We Defend, Establish") social media campaign for the second time in 24 hours. Nahmi Wa Nabni has been promoting Hizbullah's achievements ahead of Lebanese parliamentary elections to be held on May 6, 2018, and vowed in a statement on March 28 to continue to do so on Facebook and other social media platforms.
