Facebook Page With Extremist Followers Offers Security Tips On Avoiding Detection By Intelligence Agencies, Ways To Create Instagram, Facebook, Twitter Accounts With Temporary Email Addresses

A Facebook page advises followers on how to stay anonymous and secure online. This page appears to be intended for extremists. Similar tips for Islamic State (ISIS) supporters have been provided regularly by extremist Telegram groups, but this is less common on Facebook. The page promotes ways to sign up for social media accounts using a temporary email address, and provides followers with other tools to mask their online presence. For example, the page recommends the Steganos Online Shield, a Virtual Private Network (VPN) claims can hide your actual IP address and location from intelligence services. The account has 95 followers, among them several ISIS supporters who shared the page.
