In April 2020, an exchange company designated by the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) in 2019 for providing financial, material, and technological support to the Islamic State (ISIS), announced that its branches in two Syrian cities have opened an official Telegram channel.
