Convicted UK Jihadi Jailed Again For Cryptocurrency Trading Using Encrypted TOR Browser

On December 21, 2021 convicted terrorist Khuram Iqba of Cardiff, UK was arrested after secretly using two accounts on the Coinbase cryptocurrency platform to carry out 392 transactions, with nearly £12,000 deposited, despite a court order to disclose such activity to the police.[1] Iqbal's phone was seized in August 2021, revealing a cryptocurrency apps and the encrypted TOR browser. Iqbal was previously imprisoned in 2014 for publishing hundreds of posts on Facebook and Twitter about violent jihad, sharing terrorist information, and possessing copies of Al-Qaeda's Inspire magazine.
