On February 18, 2014, a group of hackers which calls itself Anonymous Caucasus, the Electronic Army of Caucasus announced that it carried out a new wave of attacks on Russian websites connected to the Olympic games. The group posted a list of 27 websites that were attacked and taken offline. The websites include Olympic.ru, Russia's Olympic committee's official website, and other sports related websites.
