American Human Rights Council, Muslim And Arab Groups, Hacked By Extremists

On September 16, 2016, it was reported that the website of the American Human Right Council (AHRC), as well as the websites of several American Arab and Muslim groups based in Dearborn, Michigan, using the webhost Novocon, were targeted and hacked by an extremist group that left messages of hate. Among the Arab and Muslim websites targeted were the American Muslim Leadership Council (AMLC) and the Arab and Muslim American Political Action Committee (AAPAC). The hacks occurred on September 15, 2016, which is the International Day for Democracy.
