On June 29, 2017, the Al-Shabab Al-Mujahideen news agency Shahada promoted a new bot on its Telegram channel. The bot helps users stay connected with Shahada by providing links to its most recent Telegram channel. The move eliminates the need for users to constantly search for Shahada's Telegram channel and may also be a response to Telegram's suspension of jihadi channels.
