Al-Qaeda Supporters Discuss Law Enforcement Use Of 'Tukan' Software, Provide Information Security Tips

On October 3, 2022, a user on the Al-Qaeda-operated Rocket.Chat server posted a question about law enforcement using software called "Tukan" to "hack" Telegram. One user responded, saying that if only one account was hacked, the user may have made a mistake. They advised users to protect themselves by enabling two-step verification on their accounts and removing unnecessary sessions. The user also pointed out that hacking the entire Telegram platform would be difficult, since its servers are segmented across the world.
