Al-Qaeda Expresses Its Support For Uyghurs, Urges Muslims To Advocate For Them, Donate To Jihadis In Turkestan

On April 4, 2019, Al-Sahab, the media arm of Al-Qaeda, released a statement in which the group's central command reiterated its support for the Uyghurs in East Turkestan, acknowledged the role they played along with the fighters of the Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP) alongside Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan and urged Muslims to advocate for them and give funds to the mujahideen in Turkestan.
