Between November 25 and 27, 2021, the Irankargar YouTube channel posted several videos showing Iranian security forces cracking down on farmers and civilians in Isfahan who were protesting government policies leading to the drying of the Zayanderud. The videos, which were filmed by protesters at the dry riverbed, showed police officers in riot gear, some on motorcycles, trying to disperse the crowds with tear gas and firing  weapons. The videos also showed burning tents, and protestors saying that the security forces set the tents on fire. In one video, a woman is heard saying: "There are no [real] men in this country! [Otherwise the police] wouldn't be so impudent!"

Man: "Don't be afraid! Don't be afraid! Do not back down! Do not back down! Do not back down! They won't hurt you, they don't have the guts to hurt you."

Man 2: "Film everything so that everyone can see that the security forces have set the place on fire."

Man 3: "You are now seeing that the special [police] unit has set the tents on fire. They have set the tents on fire and are dispersing the crowd. The security forces and the special units are the ones who have set the tents on fire."

Police: "Dear farmers, now that decisions have been made in your favor, and everyone is supporting you, you should now cooperate. I was just among you, and many of you..."

Crowd: "That's a lie! That's a lie, that's a lie! That's a lie! That's a lie, that's a lie! That's a lie! That's a lie, that's a lie!"

Police: "Pay attention! Please cooperate! My dears, please cooperate! I'm asking of you! Please leave this place without future tension. Please leave this place! Leave this place! I'm talking to you!"

Man: "F*ck you, murderers..."

Police: "Thank you, leave this place."

Man 3: Security forces have set the tents on fire."

Man 4: "Security forces are attacking... They have set our tents on fire. Look what heathens they are... These aren't Muslims. These people have no religion. Our water has been stolen, and these people are supporting the thieves..."

[...]

Man 5: "They are plucking our whoever is staying here..."

Police officer: "Space out, don't be too close to each other!"

Man 5: "Farmers have gathered before the special [police] unit."

[...]

Woman: "Record everything and publish it. You think we are afraid of your motorcycles? There are no [real] men in this country! If only there were [real] men in this country [these guys] wouldn't be so impudent!"

[...]

Man 6: "Security forces are attacking people with tear gas. The girls and the women are really unwell."

[...]

Crowd: "Oh, fellow townspeople, scream! Shout your rights! Oh, fellow townspeople, scream! Shout your rights! Oh, fellow townspeople, scream! Shout your rights! Oh, fellow townspeople, scream! Shout your rights!"

[...]

Man 7: "Security forces have entered the riverbed."

Crowd: "Stop, everyone! Don't retreat! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards! Bastards!"
