THE MEMRI CARTOON INITIATIVE'S TOP CARTOONS 2010

December 31, 2010
Special Dispatch No. 3483

The MEMRI Cartoon Initiative was launched in 2005, in the wake of the worldwide violence over the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten's publication of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.

The Cartoon Initiative has so far translated over 10,000 cartoons from the Arabic, Iranian, Turkish, Afghan, Pakistani, and Indian media. To view more cartoons, visit http://www.memri.org/cartoon/en/category.htm .

Please check for the redesigned and upgraded Cartoon Initiative website in early 2011.

The following are the MEMRI Cartoon Initiative's top cartoons for 2010 from the MEMRI Reform Project, the Tom Lantos Archives on Antisemitism and Holocaust Denial, the South Asia Studies Project and the Iranian Media Project.
