Defecting Afghan Soldier Tells Taliban Magazine: 'My Mother Gave Me Permission [To Join Afghan Army] Only On Condition That I Kill Americans'

A Taliban magazine recently interviewed an Afghan National Army (ANA) soldier who claimed to have killed more than 50 NATO troops in an August 7, 2012 attack on a U.S. base in Shewak district of Afghanistan's Paktia province. According to independent media reports, at least one soldier was killed in the attack.
