Following his release from prison in Afghanistan, Qari Muhammad Zaher has rejoined the Taliban's jihad in Afghanistan's Samangan province, and was appointed head of jihadist activities for this northern province by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (the Taliban's shadow government).
