Mohammed Hayef Al-Mutairi: "The patience that the Kuwaiti people have shown toward the Americans all these years has not been effective. The Americans stroll freely in our markets and in our gatherings.

"The Kuwaiti people is capable of abducting two American soldiers, in order to bring America to its knees, to make it act with respect, and to force it to contact the Kuwaiti government immediately.

"However, because the Kuwaiti people does not employ the same bad methods as the Americans, it maintains its friendly ties and abides by the same laws that are not respected by the Americans."
