Swat Taliban Military Commander Discusses the Jihad in Pakistan's Swat District

In a recent interview, Ustad Fateh, the central military commander of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) for the Swat district of Pakistan, discussed the beginning of the jihadi movement and how his fighters are facing the Pakistani military operations. In early 2009, the TTP fighters had begun enforcing Islamic shari'a - as a result of a shari'a-for-peace deal with the Pakistani government - in the Malakand Division, which comprises Swat and neighboring districts.
