In a new video, Ustad Ahmad Farooq, head of Al-Qaeda's Dawa and Media Department for Pakistan, pays tribute to Commander Badr Mansoor - a militant with experience waging jihad in Kashmir, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
The nine minute and 51 second-long video, produced in the Urdu language by Al-Sahab, the media arm of Al-Qaeda, was released on a jihadist internet forum. Ustad Ahmad Farooq says that Badr Mansoor was a native of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and was "martyred a few days ago" in a U.S. drone attack.
