November 17, 2011 Special Dispatch No.4293 New Taliban Video Urges Muslim Youth To Join the Fidayeen – i.e. Suicide Bombers – And Says: 'A Handful of Mujahideen Fighters Have Forced American-Led Occupation Forces To Flee Afghanistan' A Pashtu-language video released by the Taliban on a jihadist internet forum urges Muslim youth to join the Taliban suicide bombers and mujahideen in order to drown the enemy in Afghanistan. A narrator in the background, who dominates more than half of the video, relates the story of the invasion of Afghanistan by various aggressors, including the Soviet Union and the U.S.-led NATO forces. The video shows how during these invasions, a small group of brave Afghans rose up, armed themselves, and inflicted a humiliating defeat on the invaders.
