"This is a poem titled 'To the Security Council and to the Men of Peace':
"To the East and the West, I issue a call from Palestine,
"From the children of the stones, to all the Arabs in all the countries,
"A call that pierces the roadblocks with fire, a call to all Muslims,
"To all free people, to all those who seek honor and dignity.
"If anything is left of pan-Arabism,
"And if the Muslims still bear their religion as a symbol,
"They should all rise to rescue us.
"I wonder how long we will have to wait.

"There will be no peace under the Zionist rule.
"The Security Council never implements its resolutions.
"Allah Akbar! Allah is greater than any tyrant.
"The Zionists are the tyrants upon this Earth.
"Who will deter this malicious enemy?
"The Middle East has come to avenge the blood.
